Spring has Sprung and the Bees Are Flyin'

The weather is getting warmer and the bees are flying in the beeyard behind the NOD manufacturing plant here in Frankford, Ontario. Here's David, CEO and main creator of the product Mite-Away II, showing off a nice hive on April 6th that has been treated only with Mite-Away II formic acid pads for 3 years.



The Quinte Beekeepers Association is hosting an Introduction to Beekeeping Course on Saturday, May 27th and a Queen Rearing Course on Sunday, May 28th. The courses will be taught by those awesome Tech Transfer gals of the Ontario Beekeeper's Association, Alison Skinner and Janet Tam. The courses are about half full now, so sign up soon! Cost is $96.30 per course. These courses will be held here at the NOD plant in Frankford. Call Liz at
